What the job involves

  • We are expanding in People Operations. As a function, People Operations is responsible for a range of objectives that ensure Scede scales with quality at the core
  • As a People Operations Specialist, reporting directly into Head of People Operations, you will support employee lifecycle processes; recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
  • You will collaborate closely with our senior management team and our Head of Client Operations, to build, manage and sustain a pipeline of ready-to-hire talent for our project teams and our Head of Marketing to build a compelling brand as the employer of choice for recruiting talent
  • Ownership of the full recruitment life-cycle and candidate experience
  • Sourcing of passive candidates, management of inbound applications and employee referrals
  • Onboarding employees into Scede, ensuring hires have a great experience
  • Support employer brand and recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Support processes of the employee lifecycle; recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
  • Capture of key recruitment metrics and data to support continuous improvement

Our take

Fast growing companies often don't have the time, resources or expertise to focus on great hiring practices, despite it being such a high value activity. This makes it difficult to hire effectively, which can negatively impact businesses. This is the problem Scene wants to overturn.

Compared to typical agency recruiters, the company offers a middle-ground where they "loan" a recruiter to work in the customer's offices for a number of months to build out hiring capabilities.
