Role
Who you are
- Experience with MLOps
- Proficiency in Python and possibly one or more modern programming languages: Java, Go, etc
- Understanding of containers and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes (EKS)
- Proven hands-on experience of AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with Gitlab and/or Jenkins pipelines as code
- Strong skills in fixing and debugging systems and networks
- Technical understanding and hands-on experience with performance, reliability, observability and incident management tools and methodologies
- Enthusiasm and initiative in embedding a DevOps mind-set into ways of working, implementing automation and tightening feedback loops
- Experience in problem solving deployment using software engineering principles
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation and procedures
Desirable
- Hands-on experience with AWS Kinesis, SQS, Lambda (in particular in Python)
- Hands-on experience with AWS Athena, EMR, Glue
- Hands-on experience with compliance with GDPR
What the job involves
- We are planning to establish a GenAI center at our Barcelona hub, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us build a platform that enables widespread adoption of GenAI and to validate and develop reusable GenAI services and functionalities
- Be a part of the OLX SRE Organization who provide support for the development team to ensure scalability, high-availability, deployment, and performance
- Educate and share responsibility within the organization in diagnosing, resolving, and proactively preventing production issues
- Automate as much as humanly possible and always configure as code
- Take operational responsibility for the services that we own, including taking part in an on-call rotation, practice balanced incident response and blameless postmortems
- Will be working in a team focussed on Generative AI

Over 300 million people use an OLX group website every month. The company has managed to reach this level primarily through the acquisition and integration of emerging marketplaces that typically delight customers with their easy-use and quality range.
The company is now deepening its M&A strategy by integrating further marketplaces and inventories on behalf of its largest platforms, like OLX Autos. The business has already done $1B of revenue since operation.
While some brands have been flying high, others like the Russian-based Avito have become liabilities. Navigating these fluctuations in the fortunes of its ever growing portfolio of brands will continue to pose the biggest challenge for the group.
