Role
Who you are
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role with a large workforce (500+ employees)
- Strong attention to detail, working methodically and error-free
- Proficiency with large payroll software programs
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- Administer payroll and invoicing for all drivers and warehouse staff to a very high and accurate standard
- Respond to all pay-related queries in a timely manner
- Prepare reports for weekly, quarterly, and yearly reviews
- Respond to and resolve any errors in pay by reviewing past records and making any wage corrections or adjustments when necessary
- Review and abide by company policies and procedures

Our take
Parcel delivery currently relies on fossil-fuel powered vans for the most part — and they pollute the air we breathe, emit large amounts of CO₂ and congest our cities. At the same time, customer service is notoriously poor, unethical business practices are rampant, and the technology is outdated. HIVED offers an alternative: 100% electric delivery, cutting emissions by up to 76%.
The company's technology is so efficient, it can match – or sometimes even be cheaper – than the current high-emission carriers. HIVED fundamentally sets itself apart from larger competitors by ensuring deliveries are 100% emission free, which will be a significant advantage for it as the UK is witnessing a green economic boom in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The industry's expansion grew to $141.05 bn globally in 2025, which will undoubtedly be underpinned by a push towards sustainability. HIVED is well-positioned to capitalise on this, particularly if it can maintain its current high standards off the back of its 2024 strategic investment round.
