Otta's take

Sam Franklin

CEO of Otta

Today's digital landscape can bring many benefits to the world, yet it can also isolate people from the nature around them. Travel is still as popular as ever and many people seek out natural beauty, however, such experiences can be geographically remote and are therefore hard to find.

The Wanderlust Group develops technology for outdoor tourism experiences, helping to bring sustainable tourism growth to remote locations. The company’s technological offerings include the facilitation of digital payment methods, data-driven insights, and management operating systems for outdoor tourism, focusing particularly on marinas, yacht clubs, and campgrounds.

Whilst travel industry giants such as TripAdvisor will present competition to the company, The Wanderlust Group stands out with its unique focus on outdoor experiences. Having attracted impressive funding, the company is well set to improve the industries it operates within and expand the total addressable market.
