Role

Who you are

  • 10+ years of validated experience in analytics or a related quantitative field
  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics at a technology company, with a comprehensive understanding of marketing measurement, incrementality, channel attribution, and ROI frameworks
  • A strong quantitative background acquired through a degree in a related field (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics) or through professional experience
  • Proficiency in crafting sophisticated SQL queries
  • Proficiency in one or more analytics and visualization tools. Looker is a plus
  • A history of leading and encouraging a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled at handling cross-functional relationships and presenting to leadership across various organizations
  • A strong data-driven approach and results-focused mentality, with a passion for delivering measurable results and upholding high standards for the team
  • A detailed understanding of statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions)
  • A track record of using data to drive business impact, preferably in a consumer-facing digital environment
  • Proficient at quickly uncovering insights and presenting them persuasively to drive action

What the job involves

  • Lead a hardworking team of marketing analysts by setting a clear vision and guiding them in establishing measurable marketing KPIs and frameworks
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing clear direction, setting expectations, and keeping the team motivated
  • Craft the marketing attribution strategy to measure/assess the efficiency of marketing activities at each stage of the customer lifecycle and optimize marketing spend for key business outcomes
  • Build and guide experimental frameworks to measure the incremental impact of marketing across Paid channels
  • Develop key insights into customer behaviors, using analytical frameworks and methods to find opportunities for acquisition and lifetime value (LTV) growth
  • Partner with marketing channel owners to craft and implement data-driven pilots that accelerate the efficiency and effectiveness of performance marketing
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing partners to define go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring the achievement of overall launch goals
  • Serve a trusted advisor to the marketing team, advising on growth opportunities and identifying innovative ways to use data to address business challenges and drive growth
