Staff Engineer, Wolt

• We are looking for an extensive background in experience in designing and building top-class software and APIs in Python combined with experience in JVM languages, preferably Kotlin
• You understand what it takes to build and operate scalable software services in production with 99,95% uptime
• Preferably you would have been in a Lead Engineer / Staff Engineer role previously
• Background as a coding architect is genuinely relevant as well
• In addition, you should have experience in system architecture
• Prior experience in the finance/payments domain will be seen as a great advantage
• Naturally, excellent communications skills and the capability to drive change and get things done are crucial

• In this role, you own the Finance Group’s (Payments) tech domain, facilitate the engineering roadmap for this group, and plan ahead in scaling, performance, and productivity alongside taking part in hands-on coding
