Blueground supplies apartments for medium to long-term stays, that it backs with on-the-ground support so clients can have peace of mind that any issues will be handled quickly and well. It operates thousands of properties in 20+ cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, Dubai, Istanbul, Paris, London, and Athens.

Taking clear inspiration from Airbnb, Blueground caters to the increasing demand for all medium and long-stay rentals - both from holidayers seeking more unique stays, and the growing nomadic workforce. Its focus on the renter experience - with additional services, such as regular housekeeping or maintenance, available through its app - are what makes the company stand out in the space.

Blueground has stated aims to have a presence in 50 cities around the world and a portfolio of more than 50,000 apartments by 2025, an ambitious goal that will rely heavily on its ability to scale its operationally-intensive business (due to the local support teams required). The recent acquisition of corporate housing specialist Travelers Haven will enable it to expand its US footprint, as it invests its latest funds in doubling down on growth.
