  • Experience in account management, project or program management or buying experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions

Desirable

  • Cross functional experience, especially finance, buying, marketing, or supply chain
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and database work, with experience in SQL as a plus
  • Prior experience at Amazon in a retail or 3P Seller -facing role
  • Prior experience at Amazon managing cross-functional projects
  • Luxury Fashion/Beauty experience is a plus, but not required

What the job involves

  • Luxury Stores at Amazon is continually growing its meaningful selection across a global portfolio of luxury fashion and beauty brands
  • The Brand Management team is responsible for driving the acceleration of brand growth, retention of key relationships, and promotion of luxury brand needs within Amazon
  • The team works closely with brands to curate compelling assortments, create unique merchandising stories through their direct relationship with Brands, grow their business and customer base on Amazon, and drive operational improvements through partnership with internal stakeholders
  • We are looking for an Associate Brand Manager to join our team in Europe
  • The role is focused on recruiting, on boarding, launching and account managing to success for some of the most influential brands in fashion and beauty whilst leveraging key learning/feedback to improve the Luxury Stores at Amazon experience for both brands and customers
  • Business Development focus area on Resale and Fashion , negotiating signings, executing EU5 launches and delivering on Brand success metrics
  • Amazon consultant & growth strategist: serving as the first point of contact for an intimate group of large, strategic brands, understanding their business goals, end-to-end on boarding execution, and seeking out opportunities to inform a long-term strategy to help brands achieve them. Providing end-to-end support around post-launch account management, catalog creation, store merchandising, reporting and overall business performance. Interfacing and conducting stewardship meetings with senior executives and key leaders within a brand
  • Customer advocate: developing a high bar for the Luxury Stores at Amazon site experience through data quality checks and overseeing brand store merchandising
  • Works with internal technical and cross category teams to drive multi-system process changes

Despite its dominant market position, Amazon will continue to be challenged over the next decade, including sustaining AWS's cloud dominance in the face of Google and Microsoft. On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
