Role

Who you are

  • Strong knowledge of the BaaS space, particularly payment card issuing and processing with an understanding of up-and-coming alternative non-card payment technologies and payment accounts
  • Strong commercial background, with a demonstrable track record in successfully selling value-based processing products to strategic targets
  • Sales experience with demonstrated success at networking, setting appointments, pipeline building, negotiation, closing solution sales and hitting targets
  • Demonstrable record of closing new opportunities with enterprise clients. Specifically having sold to verticals in the low risk space, such as Insurance providers, ride hailing services, travel, e-commerce / platforms in the UK and Europe
  • Excellent English, another EU language would be an advantage

What the job involves

  • Create and agree on business plan with the MD
  • Lead from the front - being a key part in taking Unlimit’s Banking as a Service (BaaS) solution to market
  • Implement a strategic sales plan that targets the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence both in the UK and the EEA
  • Build, manage and maintain substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to underpin target achievement
  • Execute against the agreed business plan and provide weekly and monthly reports detailing progress, actions and any changes to meet financial targets
  • Monitor their sales performance to agreed KPIs
  • Ensure effective sales processes from initial contact with prospects to contract signatures
  • Work closely with our Marketing & Content team to create sales campaigns
  • Present sales reports and forecasts to the MD of BaaS
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with key prospects
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and the competitive landscape
  • Ability to demonstrate Unlimit’s BaaS solution and services to a high standard to all clients
  • Continue to develop knowledge and skills to ensure they remain current and relevant
  • Own, manage and control the delivery of sales and tender documentation
  • Maximise client’s engagement with Unlimit

Unlimit, formerly Cardpay, offers a large portfolio of financial services, including payment processing, Banking as a Service (BaaS), and an on-ramp fiat solution for crypto, DeFi, and GameFi. The company’s offering spans Europe, the UK, LatAm, APAC, India, and Africa and provides financial solutions to deliver solutions that eliminate financial borders.

For regions of the world like Latin America, payments are not yet digitised. In countries such as Brazil, there is a huge reliance on domestic payment solutions on account of the large unbanked segment of the population. Close to 44% of its total population doesn’t have a bank account. As a result, they rely on solutions like Boleto which is paper slip with a barcode or electronic voucher which can be scanned at any corner shop.

Traditionally banks have failed to satisfy the fast and booming online markets outside of Europe and the US, leaving an opportunity for digital-first, global payment processing companies. As a result, there is fierce competition in the space. However, Unlimit is rapidly gaining pace through the acquisition of Latin American Picpay and a partnership with Asian cross-border digital payment company Alipay+.
