Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in hands-on digital marketing. Experience coordinating or executing digital programs, for example:
  • Social media ads (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Reddit, Quora)
  • SEM marketing (display, search, SEO is a plus)

  • Demonstrable success in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, especially within paid search and paid social

What the job involves

  • As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager for Snyk, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing, executing, and monitoring comprehensive digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and pipeline from new and existing customers through the buying cycle
  • Executing and Coordinating:
  • Identifying high-impact digital marketing opportunities for brand awareness and pipeline generation within paid search and paid social
  • Overseeing the execution of paid social media advertising and paid search engine marketing campaigns aligned with campaign goals and audience targeting
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Working with the Digital Advertising Lead, Demand Generation Managers, Design, MoPs, and Product Marketing team to translate campaign strategies into actionable digital tactics that drive business outcomes
  • Data-Driven Analysis & Decision Making:
  • Analyzing campaign performance data with an eye toward pipeline generation and funnel conversion, driving toward business revenue targets
  • Diving deep into channel performance, ad testing, and conversion funnels to steer campaigns and decide on future investments
  • Effectively managing and allocating global budgets to improve campaign efficiency, maximize ROI, and achieve marketing objectives

Open source software is a highly lucrative market and is growing fast. However, open source components can come with vulnerabilities, and so their widespread use in apps becomes a liability to a company’s cybersecurity. Snyk has built a way to detect when those apps or components are compromised.

The company works with developers, who are now commonly the owners of application security. It integrates into existing developer workflows, compatible with the likes of GitHub, Bitbucket and GitLab, as well as CI/CD. Snyk also varies its approach with enterprises depending on their security needs, working on-premises, via the cloud or a hybrid. This puts the company in a strong position to target all enterprises as customers. In this, Snyk has already been successful - it has hundreds of customers, including Google and Salesforce.

Valued at $8.5bn back in 2021, Snyk has lately been focused on growth and platform improvement. It is not alone in the space, with competitors including SonarQube and Veracode, but has nonetheless remained one of the largest market players; raising funds in 2023 that come alongside an integration with ServiceNow, to further bolster the value of its offerings.
