Role

Who you are

  • A marketing copywriter with a strategic mindset and a strong grasp of brand voice
  • Skilled at crafting compelling copy across multiple channels, from campaigns to digital experiences
  • Able to balance creativity with commercial awareness, ensuring copy is both engaging and effective
  • Experience writing marketing copy for multiple brands – this could be in-house or agency
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for language, from big ideas to smaller bits of copy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality
  • A collaborative team player who thrives on working with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders
  • Passionate about putting the customer at the heart of every piece of copy
  • Experience writing tone of voice guides and implementing key messaging

Desirable

  • Experience in the Beauty, Wellness or Skincare Market is desirable

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Copywriter at Skin + Me, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand voice across all platforms, delivering impactful content that resonates with our customers
  • Working closely with the marketing and design teams, you’ll help craft compelling copy for digital, social and email marketing campaigns, ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints
  • Lead the creation of compelling marketing copy, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the customer journey
  • Collaborate with the wider team to execute and evolve content strategy, aligning messaging with overarching brand goals
  • Own the development of product naming and the creative process for new product ranges
  • Drive compelling email marketing campaigns, from subject lines to body copy, ensuring engagement and conversions
  • Create dynamic marketing copy for digital ads that drives awareness and action
  • Monitor content performance and apply data-driven insights to improve future campaigns and strategies
  • Craft attention-grabbing social media posts that reflect our brands’ personality and engage our audience
  • Maintain tone of voice consistency across all customer communications, from marketing materials to customer support
  • Collaborate with the design team to align copy with visuals, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand message
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor content, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the team

Our take

Back in 2018, Skin + Me's founders identified a huge problem in the world of skincare: people don’t just struggle with their skin – they struggle with how they’re supposed to deal with it. With no truly effective solutions available, the company set out to build a pioneering online dermatology service that provides personalised skincare.

Skin + Me takes customers through a simple online medical consultation and work with dermatologists to prescribe a treatment, personalised to the individual. Part of the company's unique selling point is that its made-to-order formulation arrives through a subscription box each month and comes in a ‘Daily Doser’ – a specially designed bottle that dispenses the exact amount of the product needed for daily application.

Skin + Me is supported by a team of dermatologists, pharmacists and direct-to-consumer experts, which allows it to deliver across the business - from skin science to building the technology platform behind it. The company's growth plans include continual development of its services while ensuring it sticks to its ethos: providing desired, effective, and personalised skincare.
