Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a B2B sales team in the digital industry
  • Knowledge of the real estate sector will be valued
  • Existing network in the relocation industry would be a great asset
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth

What the job involves

  • Develop and implement B2B sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and business objectives
  • Lead and manage a high-performing B2B sales team
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, and negotiate deals and contracts
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to ensure optimal performance and career growth
  • Set and communicate sales targets, quotas, and KPIs to the team, and ensure they are met or exceeded
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs, and identify new business opportunities and revenue streams
  • Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards, and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations,to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • Attend industry events to boost Ukio's reputation and build relationships
  • Knowledge of the real estate and/or relocation sector will be a plus

Ukio was founded by two veterans of Knotel and Airbnb, and the company functions in a similar way to the latter. However, it differentiates itself from Airbnb and other rental sites by focusing on the mid-length leases and fashionable locations typically favoured by professional remote workers. The company has benefited from the increasing number of people looking for flexible short term rentals especially in major international hubs.

Having already expanded into Germany and Portugal, it is using recent investments to enter the French and Italian markets, with longer term goals to establish a presence in the UK and Ireland.
