What the job involves

  • Join and help us solve real-world problems, streamline inefficiencies, and provide logistics support for our Sellers
  • This role indexes on a sales and business development background to successfully grow, develop and retain Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) Sellers with a high degree of customer obsession
  • Account Managers will be talking with Sellers on a daily basis and developing pipeline management plans based on bold onboarding and conversion goals. This role works in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams, globally
  • Recruit and manage a diverse portfolio of FBA Sellers for Amazon Global Logistics suite of logistics services to meet or exceed sales targets (Sellers launched, volume, revenue, etc.)
  • Identify and drive opportunities for business development and account growth
  • Program management responsibilities geared to improve and build upon the Seller experience
  • Build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders through remote and face-to-face meetings
  • Ownership of Account Management activities including forecasting, operational troubleshooting, seller education, etc, which may include tracking and analyzing metrics to measure Seller Experience and business performance
  • Formed in 2020, the EMEA Account Management Team within Amazon Global Logistics works closely with FBA sellers providing onboarding support, operational insights, and direction for new and existing logistics products & services
  • Our objective over the next few years is to scale our global supply chain program for FBA Sellers and deliver a logistics experience they love

Despite its dominant market position, Amazon will continue to be challenged over the next decade, including sustaining AWS's cloud dominance in the face of Google and Microsoft. On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
