Role

Who you are

  • 4 years+ experience in backend code development
  • 2+ years experience using Rest APIs from relevant SaaS service providers (Google Drive, Office 365, Dropbox, Box, Salesforce, Slack, etc.) . We are looking for experience using such APIs at scale
  • Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Good knowledge of distributed system design
  • Experience with Golang is a plus, but not a strict requirement
  • Availability to frequently communicate with a distributed engineering team in Central European and US Eastern time zones

What the job involves

  • We are looking to hire the first engineers to develop the cloud services part
  • As such, this role will cover research into what is feasible to do with existing APIs, as well as seamless integration with our existing endpoint-oriented product
  • Build connectors in Golang using Rest APIs to monitor and protect data in cloud applications at scale
  • Build functionality end to end, from the early specification phase to testing and monitoring
  • Research APIs provided by cloud services and identify the potential for integration in our product
  • Work with product management to fine-tune specifications and scheduling
  • Mitigate risks through defensive coding, logging and monitoring
  • Build out and lead a team
