Who you are

  • Curiosity: you are excited and proactively demonstrate solving problems by diving deep into unanswered strategic business questions
  • Intelligence: ability to problem solve in real time, high emotional intelligence and can translate complex problems into simple answers
  • Data analytics (i.e. proficient at Excel/GoogleSheets and basic SQL)
  • Insight generation (i.e. they can take their analysis and draw actionable insights from it)
  • Clear & concise communication (i.e. written & presentational, especially to senior stakeholders
  • Hubspot (or Salesforce) administration
  • Experience of:
  • Analysing large data sets across the commercial functions
  • Insight generation & ability to communicate that to the business (especially for senior stakeholders)
  • Recommending process improvements (and the results of such)
  • Cross-functional collaboration and work with senior stakeholders to drive cohesive strategies and outcomes
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment, with a proven ability to adapt quickly and contribute to multiple aspects of the business

What the job involves

  • We’re hiring for a Senior Revenue Operations Manager to own our RevOps function and work collaboratively across our commercial teams to accelerate growth in an exciting period of Legl’s growth journey
  • Covering all aspects of revenue operations, our Senior RevOps Manager will be truly ambitious and adaptable - embracing a new challenge in a high growth start-up and implementing best practices across our commercial organisation
  • You will be a key player in driving our revenue growth as you develop our RevOps capabilities by supporting the delivery of a high converting, high velocity customer acquisition funnel
  • Lead Generation - Utilise advanced techniques for scraping and identifying new leads to fuel our sales pipeline
  • Data Management - Tackle challenges related to duplicates and data cleanliness, ensuring high-quality data in our CRM and other sales tools
  • Inbound Assignment -Efficiently assign inbound leads to ensure optimal engagement and conversion
  • CRM and data administration - ownership of our Hubspot CRM, working closely with the team to ensure that data is clean, accurate and actionable
  • Process Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements and automations to enhance efficiency across sales and marketing operations. Continually reevaluate our commercial processes, looking for inefficiencies and breakages and implementing improvements to support our scale
  • Marketing Reporting - Analyse performance across various channels to identify what works best, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions
  • Outbound Strategy - Refine and implement effective outbound cadences, incorporating copy adjustments, frequency, volume, personalization, and strategic LinkedIn engagements
  • Data and Insights - Supporting our commercial leadership to identify problems, spot opportunities and use data to inform decision making
  • Forecasting and targets - supporting Sales and CS leadership with processes and tooling to make accurate forecasts based on past performance

Our take

The legal industry is becoming increasingly dependent on technology, such as through analytical tools being used to pore through documents, and automation systems converting physical documents into digital content. Legl wants to transform the industry, bringing technology to its heart. The company's platform contains new tools for law firms to use, including improved systems for online payments, compliance, raising awareness around legal issues, and helping consumers have a better experience of the law.

Legl is not alone in this field: other SaaS companies, such as LawOn, are similarly aiming to streamline the legal process. However, legal tech is still in its infancy so there's definitely room for multiple players.

The biggest challenge facing Legl will be getting firms on side, especially the large firms that dominate most of the spend in the space. The legal industry is notoriously slow moving, so uptake might be slow initially. However, if Legl can fulfil its ambitions to help law firms grow and succeed in a digital-first world, there is no reason why it shouldn't see great success in the future.
