Data Engineer, Cable

• You have a background in dealing with financial crime data
• You are experienced with Python for data processing, OOP principles, and unit testing
• You have built ETL/ELT processes and have a strong understanding of techniques and tools for data processing and analytics, including scheduling tools (e.g. Airflow)
• You have experience with big data technologies and/or streaming data
• You have worked with PII/sensitive data and understand security & privacy implications
• You are comfortable working with cloud infrastructure and products (preferably GCP, but similar experience with AWS or Azure is fine)
• You have experience with relational databases
• You are comfortable working with Git & Github, and have experience with CI/CD

• Developing and scaling the data pipelines that generate the insights shown to customers
• Onboarding customers and understanding their data model & requirements
• Building out our insights capabilities using advanced analytics and/or ML techniques
• Working closely with our Software Engineers to develop new product features offering increasingly more value to our customers
• Designing and building cloud data processing infrastructure that is secure, meeting data protection requirements, efficient, and scalable
• Researching new data technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our tools and products
