Role

Who you are

  • 10+ year of experience in a product management role, preferably in banking, NBFI, or a digital payments organization
  • Deep expertise the product development life-cycle in any of the following: regulatory, compliance, finance, treasury, or operations
  • Understanding of various payment types and schemes
  • Clear understanding of Foreign Exchange dynamics
  • Strong understanding of the Agile product life-cycle
  • Superior communication skills across both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing virtual teams across multiple geographies

What the job involves

  • Serve as the SPOC for all product requirements from legal, compliance, finance, treasury, and operations (functions)
  • Own the product development life cycle for these requirements, including, but not limited to product requirement documentation, stakeholder review and engagement, roadmap oversight, product readiness, and commercialization
  • Bring industry expertise in handling requirements of the functions
  • Cross-Border Services focuses on new payment flows to consumers, including cross-border Person-to-Person (P2P) payments, Business-to-Business (B2B), and Government Disbursements, and Remittances
  • Cross -Border Services leads the development and deployment of MasterCard Cross-Border payment products and services to the market and holds direct accountability for the end-to-end customer experience, managing the product life cycle, developing new features, use cases and target segments for the product
  • This includes dynamic consultation and management of both business and technical facets for Product Management and leading both internal and external partners towards successful execution
  • The Director, Product Management – Functions, leads the product management life-cycle for all functional areas across Cross-Border Services
  • This role will ensure that the requirements of functional stakeholders are captured, prioritized, and delivered. The role will report in the VP – Product Management
