Role

Who you are

  • Experience with or knowledge of marketing automation platforms
  • Previous work for a SaaS company, or understanding of more technical platforms

What the job involves

  • Prospecting: Use our tech stack (Apollo, LinkedIN SalesNav, Salesforce, Crunchbase, etc.) to identify and create an ongoing list of new leads in our target market in order to book qualified sales meeting for our Sales Executives
  • Team Engagement: Collaborate with the team to hone and develop new and meaningful outreach strategies
  • Work with Sales Executives to understand prospect goals, challenges, and use cases
  • Gain product knowledge with internal training (via SDR Team/Sales Enablement)
  • Outreach: Focus on daily activities such as email, calling, and LinkedIn to connect with your prospect where they are most likely to respond
  • Key Performance Indicator minimum expectations: 100 dials per week, 200 Emails per week, 50 LinkedIn tasks per week
  • Give real-time feedback on outreach learnings and insights with the sales and marketing team

Many businesses fail to achieve their marketing goals because they send impersonal messages to potential customers that do not incentivise them to take the desired action. Customer.io is a marketing automation tool that is setting out to change this by allowing companies to send hyper-targeted messages to specific audiences, driving retention and conversion.

It differentiates itself from competitors such as Klaviyo and Braze by using real-time behavioural data and advanced segmentation which allows marketers to target people based on personal attributes and web history.

Moreover, it provides users with the option to target specific audiences on multiple channels alongside emails, such as Facebook and Google. It already counts over 3,800 companies among its clients, including Reddit, Segment and Mapbox.

In January 2022, the company launched a mobile software development kit for iOS and Android, as well as announcing new integrations with data warehouse providers, including Amazon Redshift, Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, and Google Bigquery. Going on to raise considerable investment that year, Customer.io now plans to speed up product innovation and grow its team, as it seeks further success and growth into the future.
