What the job involves

  • Articulate a vision and roadmap for your area of ownership by considering business goals and user needs
  • Lead customer discovery with a variety of methods such as interviews, surveys, concepts tests, quantitative experiments, etc
  • Define product requirements and frame problems in a way that empowers designers, engineers, and data scientists
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to define an awesome online and offline user experience
  • Act as the connective glue for other teams and stakeholders so that the team stays focused on the right problem and best solution
  • Set and analyze metrics for evaluating product performance, measuring experiments, and answering business questions
  • Plan and manage projects by keeping others unblocked, and jumping in wherever you’re needed to be hands-on
