Role

Who you are

  • 7+ years working in a product design role or similar
  • Ability to create accessible, user-friendly interfaces and experiences
  • Experience running workshops with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Understanding the complexity behind design decisions and effectively communicating with engineering teams
  • Familiarity with research tools and techniques, and understanding how data impacts design decisions
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and the ability to choose the right process for each problem you solve
  • Ability to communicate design rationales effectively and present. concepts/strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in wire-framing and prototyping using tools such as Figma, including the creation of high-fidelity prototypes
  • Successfully designed solutions for an eCommerce platform, boosting user engagement and driving revenue growth
  • Developed a comprehensive portfolio showcasing both UX and UI skills, including a case study where data-driven insights were used to significantly improve a product’s performance
  • Experience in SaaS environments, contributing to the design and development of scalable software solutions (optional)
  • Led cross-functional workshops to align design strategies with business goals, resulting in improved collaboration and project outcomes
  • Utilised design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric products

  • You’ll join a team focused on creating innovative solutions for our e-commerce platform, leveraging a blend of your UX and UI skills, user experience expertise, and data analysis.
  • With millions of users, you’ll have ample opportunities for experimentation and improvement.
  • Collaboration with over 35 designers and researchers ensures a cohesive user experience.
  • Your role will also involve guiding stakeholders with data-driven insights to make impactful decisions and maintain consistency across the platform, guided by a design-thinking-led process.
  • Additionally, you’ll act as a thought partner with the e-commerce leadership team, using analytics and experimentation to drive business decisions and advocating for the best outcomes for users and the business
  • The opportunity to lead the end-to-end design process, collaborating with engineering teams, shipping products, and making iterative improvements from sketches to delivery
