What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy & Operations to join our high-performing Marketing + Comms Strategy & Ops team
  • In this crucial role, you will lead the maturity and scaling of our Central Ops function, ensuring our Marketing + Comms organization operates at peak efficiency
  • This is a unique opportunity to help build and define how we work at Pinterest during an exciting period of growth
  • Mature and Scale: Drive the maturity and scaling of the Central Ops function, ensuring the Marketing + Comms organization operates efficiently and effectively
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee budget management, including Opex and Headcount, vendor and contract management, and internal communications strategies within the Central Ops function. Be a player-coach, ready to roll up your sleeves and handle budget and finance operations directly, digging in with the team to support and execute
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams including marketing, legal, procurement, finance, deal desk, and other parts of the Marketing + Comms organization to align marketing operations with broader business goals and ensure seamless execution
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analysis tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing operations and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, driving operational excellence across the Marketing + Communications organization
  • Executive Reporting: Analyze and report on the performance of marketing operations to executive leadership, making data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire your team, managing performance effectively, fostering a cohesive and inclusive work environment, and developing talent to meet both organizational and individual career goals
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, deliver constructive feedback, and foster an environment of continuous improvement. Ensure team members are aligned with organizational objectives and supported in their professional growth
