  • Proven track record of building and managing an outbound sales pipeline

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to drive demand through outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calls and targeted outreach
  • Prior experience in SaaS or similar tech-driven environments is highly desirable
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team-driven environment

What the job involves

  • As an SDR at Sequel, you will play a vital role in driving our company's growth by generating and qualifying B2B leads, scheduling demos, and moving prospects through the sales process
  • You'll be responsible for building relationships with marketing executives and key decision-makers across industries, helping to uncover qualified opportunities and make a direct impact on our pipeline
  • Partnering closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, you'll use multi-channel outreach—emails, cold calls, video, and social—to engage prospects and drive sales
  • This role lays the foundation for a successful SaaS sales career and provides a fantastic opportunity to grow within a fast-paced tech startup environment while learning valuable skills that will accelerate your professional development
  • This position works closely with the leadership team and the CEO of the company. It therefore includes massive opportunities for professional growth
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales-qualified leads and demo opportunities for Sequel’s solutions through methods such as cold and warm calls, emails, and social selling
  • Research and prospect into target accounts with the goal of generating interest and securing demos for our Account Executives
  • Continuously research and expand both new and existing accounts by adding key contacts, sending personalized emails, and making strategic calls
  • Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts to expand Sequel's reach and growth
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Executives to identify potential customers and target industries, jointly developing and implementing effective outbound prospecting strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align strategies, share insights, and optimize lead generation efforts
  • Gain a deep understanding of Sequel's offerings and the key challenges it solves for customers and users
  • Address and manage objections or concerns from prospects regarding Sequel’s product offerings
