Role

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • Two years of experience in the Crypto industry, specifically in sales
  • Proven track of leading large crypto-related initiatives to completion
  • Strong understanding of trading, execution, orderbooks, and market making
  • Knowledge of the Crypto regulatory landscape
  • Knowledge of digital asset custody
  • Strong communications with excellent writing and verbal communication Skills
  • Ability to qualify prospects
  • Experience with outreach and cultivating your own pipeline

What the job involves

  • SFOX is seeking an experienced Account Executive to build out and meet our growing demand in the institutional digital asset space
  • In this role you will work closely with existing clients as well as develop new client relationships
  • As a member of the sales team you will work cross functionally with other members from the team as well as alongside our sales development representatives and marketing team
  • This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, technical, and excited about leading and executing on new initiatives
  • Lead business development and corporate initiatives efforts
  • Identify potential opportunities to expand business
  • Consider competitive landscape and sFOX's positioning within it
  • Develop and execute the custody business proposals to institutional investors, and manage the solutions to completion
  • Build partnerships based on a well-defined strategy
  • Take the lead on developing new client relationships
  • Be responsible for educating the internal stakeholder and clients on our current suite of product features, technologies and innovations
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Maintain a growing and healthy sales pipeline and Manage CRM
  • Meet daily metrics, close sales and exceed monthly targets
  • Grow the sFOX client pipeline by initiating, developing, and fostering new clients for sFOX’s trading platform

Our take

SFOX (San Francisco Open Exchange) is a cryptocurrency prime dealer that enables traders to access global crypto markets with one account. Unlike the wealthy consumer-facing products for private trading, SFOX focuses on professional traders and institutional investors, offering higher returns when trading large volumes.

Rather than acting as an exchange in its own right, SFOX helps high volume traders to buy and sell orders by executing them through its integrations with over 30 cryptocurrency exchanges. Despite the current downtown in crypto markets following the FTX collapse, SFOX is seeing an increase in business as institutional traders seek safer and more tax compliant ways to navigate the digital assets marketplace.

SFOX was part of Y Combinator's 2014 batch, and is led by an experienced team of operators. It has not been shy about attracting talent from top institutions, especially targeting engineering and legal professionals to further develop its product and ensure compliance with increasing regulations on the crypto space.
