Who you are

  • Comment start 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • 5+ years of proven success in selling to US banks and Fortune 1000s, with expertise in fraud and compliance preferred

What the job involves

  • As an Account Executive for our Enterprise team, you will be tasked with evangelizing the Sardine value proposition, building a qualified pipeline, developing sales strategies, and closing deals within top-tier US banks, Fortune 1000s, and other Large Enterprises
  • This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Global Sales. Sardine is looking for an experienced sales professional with expertise and an existing network within Fraud and Financial Services, selling into Large Banks and/or Fortune 1000s
  • Build relationships with Business, Technology, Risk, and Compliance executives while building awareness of Sardine's brand and value proposition
  • Conduct detailed discovery sessions to gain a total understanding of bank challenges, initiatives, existing tech stack, strategic priorities, etc
  • Establish credibility, trust, and respect as a thought leader in Digital Transformation, Digital Identity, Compliance, and Fraud
  • Become an expert on Sardine's product offering and its composable nature, and be able to creatively offer product solutions that match client’s business and technology challenges
  • Own the sales processes from end-to-end: collaborate with the Growth team and BDRs to develop a targeted outbound strategy, qualify legitimate sales opportunities by finding pain, urgency, and/or a compelling event, collaborate with the Solutions Engineering team to tailor your presentations and demos, lead the commercial negotiations and contracting processes, and close the deal
  • Collaborate across the Sardine team to support and deliver market feedback from prospects and clients

Identity and payment fraud is one of the biggest dangers facing online businesses. Sardine is setting out to solve this problem by building the first zero-day fraud prevention technology.

Sardine was founded by an impressive combination of ex-Revolut, Coinbase, Paypal and Uber stars. These credentials have enabled the company to amass considerable funding since its launch. Sardine's technology traces intrinsic behaviour patterns to identify so-called "bad actors" online, and detects fraudsters using machine-learned fraud scores and user behavior biometrics.

Sardine calls itself the world's first FaaS (Fraud Detection as a Service), and its solutions are already drawing business from next-gen crypto and financial service institutions such as Fortress and Incode. Onboarding these institutions and scaling its customer base at pace will ensure that Sardine maintains its frontrunner position.
