  • Expertise in lead generation, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, Salesforce)

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a Head of Demand Generation to join the team at Liberis
  • This is a leadership role with the scope and autonomy to build and scale a demand generation engine directly fuelling the growth of our business
  • At Liberis this means identifying and build an early stage pipeline of companies that want to embed our finance platform in the offering to small businesses
  • You’ll own the end-to-end demand generation strategy, leveraging your expertise to deliver qualified leads at scale while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • We're seeking a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, navigates ambiguity with ease, and is passionate about delivering measurable results
  • This is an exciting greenfield opportunity we're eager to build from the ground up
  • While you'll collaborate closely with our Product Marketing team, what makes this role particularly compelling is the chance to personally own and shape demand generation from day one—with clear potential to grow the function
  • Building and owning the demand generation strategy
  • Define and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy across organic, paid, email, events, and more to fuel our growth engine
  • Driving pipeline growth
  • Develop and manage campaigns that drive qualified leads and move prospects through the funnel, optimizing conversion rates at every stage
  • Collaborating across the organization
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and other Marketing teams to ensure campaigns align with business priorities and address audience pain points effectively
  • Developing scalable systems and processes
  • Implement tools and processes to track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, ensuring seamless lead handoff to Sales
  • Building and leading a team in future
  • Once the function is established and achieving early results, lead its growth. Over time, develop a high-performing demand generation team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Optimizing the marketing tech stack
  • Evaluate and enhance the tools and technologies used for demand generation, ensuring we have the infrastructure to scale
  • Analyzing and reporting performance
  • Define the right KPIs, monitor results, and report on campaign effectiveness to key stakeholders, using data to inform future decisions
  • Innovating and testing
  • Continuously identify new opportunities to improve lead acquisition, nurture strategies, and customer acquisition costs

Our take

London-based Liberis offers small businesses a new way of securing financing. By taking an agreed % of customer credit and debit card takings, Liberis has created a brand new system of repayment, meaning small businesses no longer have to rely on traditional financing. Whilst small businesses are a cornerstone of the global economy, they are continuously turned away by traditional lenders, hence Liberis has been able to harness a crucial part of the global market whilst boosting small business.

Liberis isn't the only 'pay-as-you-earn '-style finance provider: it competes with similar schemes provided by the likes of Amazon and PayPal. Nonetheless, it has seen rapid growth and has funded around $3B to over 50,000 SMEs across the UK, Europe, and the US. This can be accredited to the platform's use of machine learning to understand a customer's risk profile, and hence the maximum funding options available to them. Its other standout feature is its frictionless end-to-end funding experience, which uses a single API integration to accelerate the timeline from application to finance.

Liberis operates an impressive global partner network that consists of eCommerce platforms. It has raised significant funding that will enable it to grow its European and US presence with new partners as well as established ones like eBay US.
