Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or equivalent working with customers in a B2B company
  • Experience in Cloud development, migrations, container orchestration or applications/servers
  • Knowledge in one of the following: Infrastructure as Code, Linux system administrators, application development, Datacenter components
  • Very good command of French and English

Desirable

  • Experience in data migration and large database management
  • Experience in private cloud architecture
  • Experience in Negotiating complex deals

What the job involves

  • Pre-sales solutions Architects are the primary technical contact for our clients and prospects during the first phases of their project
  • PSAs engage deeply with technical contacts and C-level in order to build Scaleway Architectures and resolve migration challenges
  • We need individuals who can develop positive relationships with our customers, learn their requirements and work to bring cloud solutions that enable their success
  • Reporting to the Head of Solutions Architect, your primary responsibilities will be to increase customer acquisition
  • You will find answers and solutions to our clients along the Sales discovery process
  • Serve as the technical liaison, collaborate with sales, marketing and services team to create customized presentations, demos and proof of concepts
  • Handle and resolve technical questions and challenges encountered by clients during the first phases of their projects
  • Drive proof of concept projects to success by creating a convincing story that shows our solution as a must-have that delivers quantifiable and tangible business value to our customers
  • Take learning from the field and feed them back to improve our products, solutions and sales process
  • Elevate the story so that your sales team and you can pitch effectively to C-level executives and technical teams
  • Seek to understand the Cloud markets; Deep dive technically in Scaleway and learn from competitors; Share your knowledge with other Solution Architects and your Sales team
