Company mission

To become the world's go-to forecasting and mitigation platform more important and valuable than ever.

Role

What the job involves

  • We're seeking an innovative, driven, team-oriented Principal Product Manager to own the Monitor Yield Outlook product at ClimateAi
  • The product aims to enhance food security for governments and supply chain resilience for food companies
  • It uses biophysics-based AI approaches to model the impacts of extreme weather/climate change on food supply chains and drive procurement strategies for food companies and governments
  • Build on the early successes of our Monitor Yield Outlook product. You will go deep with our customers—both existing and prospective customers—to build target user persona(s) and help shape a product roadmap that delivers value for these personas’ use cases
  • Own the feature development process from end to end, including product strategy and vision, quarterly roadmap reviews, developing product requirements, testing plans, feature release notes, metrics instrumentation & tracking, and bug triaging
  • Report directly to the CEO and work closely to develop and refine the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization
  • Engage our sales and customer success teams to understand where acquisition, activation, and retention issues are occurring and develop product-led frameworks to address these issues
  • Lead a cross-functional pod of software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to shape and deliver on initiatives that drive value for our customers - you should be eager to learn from our data science and engineering teams, and be familiar working closely with technical teams
  • Closely collaborate with our sales and business team to help position the Monitor Yield Outlook product in the market from both a customer value and technical differentiation perspective – this can include creating sales enablement materials (e.g., decks, FAQs, competitor analysis), crafting thought pieces and product marketing materials, and iterating on product pricing & packaging

Our take

The climate resilience platform provides actionable weather, climate, and water insights using machine learning and data inputs from various sources. This helps companies and governments minimize near- and long-term climate risk exposure. Its risk intelligence capabilities empower clients to go beyond single-goal initiatives by supporting comprehensive decision-making to enable more effective climate adaptation responses.

As the global market size for both artificial intelligence and climate solutions expands, ClimateAi’s rapid growth has ensured it maintains its place as a major player in the market, with a customer portfolio that includes Dole, Driscoll’s, Ocean Spray, and Nuveen Natural Capital. Its highly scalable solution has enabled the company to be applicable across a wide range of industries and verticals.

The company is focused on team expansion and further development of its AI technologies as it expands into new territories that are at the highest risk of damage due to climate change, including India, Japan, and low-income countries within the Global South.
