Company mission

To make sure that as many fans as possible get to go to their favourite shows, festivals and sporting events - and to do so at a fair price.

Role

Who you are

  • Exceptional proficiency in French (native) and English, both written and verbal. Any additional languages are a plus
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in Sales and/or Partnerships, preferably in the ticketing or live events industry
  • You’re an ambitious, energetic and positive person
  • You’ve got a commercial mindset, and have solid skills in prospecting, negotiating and closing contracts
  • You are data driven and result-oriented
  • You're described as a strong communicator (verbal and written), have good relational skills and you know how to handle tough situations
  • You're proactive, especially in understanding the exact needs of a partner and responding to them, as well as in identifying and solving problems
  • You embrace change and excel in a company and market that are continuously evolving
  • You can work autonomously and are well organized with a healthy focus on the details

What the job involves

  • Do business that puts fans first, while serving the partner’s needs
  • Drive TicketSwap’s New Business & Account Management for the French market
  • Create an impact by taking the relationship with our prospects and partners to the next level
  • The role is a combination of existing account management (main part of your role) and new business development. You will spend a significant amount of your time on managing and nurturing existing partnerships, but will also participate in identifying and developing new partnerships opportunities
  • Own the overall relationships with partners, which includes managing onboarding, the implementation of our services, increasing adoption, and ensuring retention and high levels of partner-satisfaction
  • Serve as day-to-day operational contact for your accounts, providing the services adapted to their needs, building trust and identifying areas of opportunities for growth
  • Be the eyes and ears of TicketSwap in France in order to identify opportunities and market trends
  • Translate your knowledge, experience and market insights into partner valued features to strengthen TicketSwap’s position within the industry
  • Act as the feedback loop between the partner and the different internal teams (Product, Marketing, etc.). Solve issues and help to improve our services
  • Manage commercial negotiations in order to secure new partnerships or renew with existing partners
  • Travel is required to strengthen relationships by visiting events and conferences which contribute to the bigger goal: building and maintaining Partnerships

Our take

Obtaining tickets for in-demand events can be extremely difficult, as can selling on unusable tickets. TicketSwap solves this problem by providing a platform where users can buy and sell pre-sold tickets, without the usually associated risk and high prices.

With fraud detection built in, TicketSwap’s platform allows for greater security against bad sellers. It also maintains a fixed price cap of 120% of the original price to protect against exploitative profiteering. These features, alongside the ease of use of the marketplace, have proved wildly popular, and the platform now serves millions of users around the world.

The company has expanded rather a lot since its inception, sweeping across European markets as well as entering Latin America and the UK. It has cemented a series of lucrative deals with festivals, venues, and promoters, which is testament to the company’s growing ubiquity, and continues to roll out new features such as in-app ticket storage and "FairShare", that divides any profit on a sold ticket fairly between the seller of the ticket and the event organizer.
