What the job involves

  • As an Account Executive within this vibrant ecosystem, you will be our key player in establishing and expanding our impact in the industry
  • To secure deals with food service distributors you will work with a team of Account Executives, Growth Managers and Implementation Specialists
  • You are at the heart of change in the food service industry as you cultivate valuable relationships with distributors
  • Your efforts combined with Choco's tools will change the whole food industry
  • You will take full ownership of closing commercial deals with our distributor partners, from the first touchpoint to the signed contract
  • Go out in the field and negotiate with both CEOs of multi-million companies and family run businesses that have 0 experience with technology
  • You will craft and nurture connections with prospective customers via cold outreach, referrals, walk-ins to food markets and previous relationships. You will demo our solutions live to supplier and so create importance and urgency in the very first meetings
  • Your role goes beyond hitting targets; it’s about making a tangible impact in the industry, driving innovation and setting new benchmarks for success
  • You will be working with cutting-edge technology like AI solutions, educating key decision makers at suppliers and presenting the value these technologies can provide to their business
  • Create long lasting relationships with distributors that will last the tests of time. You will create win-win scenarios. Your ability to close deals will create valuable partnerships that stand the test of time
  • Think outside of the box and present new ideas, processes, and opportunities that exceed customer expectations and make for a best-in-class experience

The restaurant industry has seen vast technological innovations throughout the last decade, yet the state of supply chain ordering and administration does not reflect this. Restaurants are still using archaic paperwork to order from suppliers, and this has the tendency to become clunky, inaccurate, and result in food waste. Choco exists to improve this situation by connecting restaurants and suppliers through its food ecosystem management software.

It has a large and rapidly growing userbase and its supply chain now links more than 30,000 businesses, with more than £1.2 billion in goods traded on its platform.

Choco raised large amounts of capital in several funding rounds and achieved unicorn status with a valuation exceeding $1 billion. It has eyes on expansion, currently working with clients across the U.S. and Europe but planning to begin operations in South America, the Middle East, and Asia in the near future.
