Who you are

  • This is a great job for someone who has a strong interest in FinTech & InsureTech, HealthTech, Science & Technology and Climate & Sustainability

  • Previous experience in VC / Growth Capital with significant experience working on VC/Growth transactions
  • Ability to handle multiple-tasks and deliver to deadlines, move fluidly across topics at pace and balance multiple and conflicting priorities
  • A professional qualification in finance would be a distinct advantage e.g. ACA, CIMA, CAIA, CFA, MBA
  • Comfortable working in a demanding and challenging environment and good teamwork and social skills, with the ability to work well with other team members both within and outside the team

What the job involves

  • In this role you will support the Director and Heads of Aviva Ventures in the development and management of Venture & Growth Capital investments, in particular as an “end to end” transaction deal captain from initial appraisal to deal completion
  • The Aviva Investors Venture & Growth Capital team is a small and dynamic team that currently consists of five individuals. The team manages direct and indirect Venture & Growth Capital investments across two mandates – Corporate Venture Capital and Long-Term Capital Growth
  • Within the role you will be required to support transaction execution, including investment due diligence, participating in company management meetings, cap table analysis, business/financial model analysis, investment memo and paper writing
  • In addition to this you will also support on the deal flow pipeline, including proactive networking and market research / thematic deep dives
