Who you are

  • Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Creative or Art Direction, with an exceptional eye for detail and design, and experience in creative agencies, fashion, tech or entertainment industries
  • 10+ years experience overall within a creative agency or leading brand
  • Ability to generate and articulate innovative creative concepts and strategies that align with business goals and drive brand differentiation
  • Data and insights driven strategy and ideation - your ideas and priorities are driven by insights and a strong creative vision not simply ‘gut feelings’
  • Advanced skills in graphic design, digital media, and relevant creative software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, provide constructive feedback, and lead and inspire a creative team towards achieving project goals
  • In-depth understanding of current design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to create forward-thinking and engaging visual content
  • Strong grasp of brand marketing principles and practices, including experience in developing and maintaining brand guidelines, ensuring consistent brand messaging, and optimising visual assets to enhance brand identity
  • High-level of multi-tasking and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, manage budgets, adhere to timelines, and deliver high-quality results
  • Effective at building and managing a network of creative professionals and external collaborators, fostering productive relationships, and leveraging their expertise to elevate the quality and impact of creative work

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a Creative Lead to deliver creative excellence and join us on our journey to establish Easol as a pioneering and trusted global technology brand
  • You will report to and collaborate with Easol’s Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer to execute creative solutions in line with the company’s global brand design and marketing strategy
  • Managing your own creative team and working in partnership with product, sales, marketing and people leads to develop creative solutions and develop impactful and pioneering visual and written storytelling content and projects from idea to completion
  • Along with creating boundary-pushing creative concepts and campaigns you will help to create consistent and scalable brand design systems for the company that help us achieve our business and brand objectives
  • Visual Strategy: Shaping and implementing the visual direction, ensuring cohesive and compelling design across all platforms, and aligning visual elements with Easol’s brand identity and business goals
  • Project Management: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing creative projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and align with Easol’s strategic objectives
  • Storytelling: Crafting and conveying compelling narratives that effectively communicate Easol’s brand's value proposition, engage target audiences, and support marketing and product strategies
  • Experiential: You have executed high quality and innovate events and experiential brand campaigns
  • Art Direction: Conceptualizing and overseeing the visual style of all creative materials, ensuring they align with Easol’s brand identity and strategic goals
  • Network of Creatives/Collaborators: Building and managing a diverse network of creative professionals and external partners, fostering collaboration, and leveraging their expertise to enhance Easol’s creative outputs and innovation
  • Content Production: Defining the creative vision, leading a team, overseeing content creation and production processes, ensuring brand consistency, and optimising content performance to support Easol’s objectives
  • Brand & Visual guidelines: Developing and maintaining comprehensive brand and visual standards to ensure consistent and cohesive representation of the Easol brand across all platforms and materials

Easol was founded in 2017 by husband and wife team Ben and Lisa Simpson with the intention of becoming the world's first all-in-one SaaS platform for experience commerce. The company aims to bring vital experience commerce tools all into one synchronised place.

Easol empowers entrepreneurs by removing the need to outsource their business to traditional e-commerce platforms, booking platforms or experience marketplaces such as Airbnb. This appeals directly to bosses looking to maintain full ownership of their business, and to streamline the labour-intensive and hands-on booking and tracking processes.

The company is taking advantage of the growing experience market, as more and more businesses are founded to provide the rising demand for unforgettable experiences. After a difficult few years, the experience market is set to boom, and Easol is well-placed to profit from that trend.
