Otta's take

CTO of Otta

Ripple was founded in 2012 with a vision to create the Internet of Value: a concept allowing the transfer of money as swiftly as information could be shared on the Internet.

Ripple was one of the first blockchain companies to have a commercially viable product, quickly signing up more than 100 financial institutions to Ripplenet, which allowed customers to use XRP to source liquidity instantly. Despite a tumultuous market, RippleNet continues to grow, recently experiencing the highest amount of demand from both new and existing customers adopting on-demand liquidity transactions.

Through blockchain technology, Ripple is enabling global financial institutions, businesses, governments, and developers to move, manage and tokenize value. By helping organizations reach new markets and free working capital, Ripple has attracted clients including Cross, Bank of America, and Modulr.
