Role

Who you are

  • Experience: You already have 4+ years of experience in financial audit, or internal audit within a bank or a financial institution (e.g. French “Inspection Générale”). You have a strong knowledge of financial audit or control
  • Communication: You can synthesise information from a variety of sources and communicate the key points to other teams with detail and simplicity
  • Analytical mind & rigorous: You are a fast learner with strong attention to detail. You have good analytical and quantitative skills to quickly elaborate on key findings and propose processes improvements
  • Languages: You are fluent in English and another European language (Spanish, Italian, German). Mastery of French is a definite plus
  • Academic Background: You have a Master’s degree with a specialization in Finance and/or Control

What the job involves

  • As an Internal Controller, you are a key member of our Internal Control system and accompany the development and execution of the Internal Control Plan on the Corporate division
  • Contribute to an innovative approach for internal control, with a methodology relying on the Qonto Way principles and breaking down the old standards and assumptions
  • Strengthen the financial audit to ensure Qonto is the best in class
  • Make your team bloom, by mentoring them and helping them grow in a stimulating and dynamic environment
  • Co-build smart and actionable recommendations to help Qonto succeed
  • Play a strategic role in key projects at a company scale
  • Your manager will be Julia, our Head of Internal Control
