Role

Who you are

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Currently active professional Human Resources Designation preferred (SHRM, CIPD, CPHR)
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist or People Operations role supporting a variety of annual People Team cycle activities (Contract creation, Visa applications, Compensation Reviews, Workforce Planning, etc.)
  • Proven experience supporting benefits and payroll functions for a small to medium scale organization
  • Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and laws; EU and US understanding beneficial
  • Ability to influence and negotiate successfully at all levels of the business
  • Comfortable working both with autonomy and as a member of a team
  • Legally able to travel and work internationally across Beamery work locations (primarily London, UK, Berlin, DE and Austin, TX, USA)
  • This role is based in London, UK

What the job involves

  • Act as an enabler for the business
  • Support Beamery’s growth path by working with the team to document and manage key processes and ensuring they are repeatable and scalable
  • Champion Beamery culture and employee experience through various initiatives related to engagement, retention, onboarding, and off-boarding
  • Support the creation of contracts, amendments and other People compliance activities
  • Support employee relocation and work with third parties to ensure a smooth transition
  • Support audit and compliance activities and management of the Beamery HRIS data
  • Process tickets coming in through the People Services ticket desk
  • Work closely with the People Partners, TA and C,E&I team to create a first in class onboarding experience
  • Proactive planning and delivery of a fortnightly onboarding day, ensuring the contributors will consistently meet the needs irrespective of intake sizes and geographies
  • Facilitating effective communication and decision making across the team, including chairing regular meetings and maintaining internal communication channels to support the onboarding process
  • Driving continuous improvement of the new starter onboarding process through identifying and implementing process improvements in collaboration with contributors, collecting feedback from new starters and consultation with the leadership team
  • Manage the ordering and delivery of company swag, both to new and existing employees
  • Work with other departments to ensure realisation of the benefits, of economies of scale
