Who you are
- Your expertise in data analysis and management will enable our team to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance the learning experience for millions of users globally
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 1 year in a manager, mentor or tech-lead role
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
- Expert in SQL and strong skills with languages such as Python or R
- Expertise in ETL processes, preferably including DBT
- Expert using data visualization tools, specifically Periscope or similar cloud-based solutions
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate data insights into strategic business actions
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of leading and developing teams

- As a Data Science Manager at Quizlet, you will lead a team of skilled data analysts dedicated to supporting the Core Product Team

- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate data-driven insights into product development processes. Ensure that data analysis aligns with overall product goals and user needs
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide critical insights to stakeholders. Ensure that complex data is presented in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
- Champion and drive the accuracy, reliability, and value of data
