What the job involves

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing efforts at OpenGov
  • As the Senior Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for our suite of products
  • This includes go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, pricing and packaging, product launches, and sales collateral
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure our messaging and positioning resonate with our target audience and align with company objectives
  • This senior leadership role will be a primary driver in the commercial success of the OpenGov Cloud
  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive market leadership
  • Define compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates OpenGov’s products in the marketplace
  • Ongoing ownership of pricing, packaging, and key messages to maintain the success of current products, and launch new products in the market
  • Manage a team of results-drive product marketing managers, including effective prioritization, coaching, and accountability
  • Partner with the enablement team to train field sales, customer success, and partner teams on messaging, key differentiation, and how to convey the value of OpenGov
  • Lead the go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and updates, working closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Create high-impact marketing collateral, sales tools, and thought leadership content to support demand generation and sales enablement
