Who you are

  • 1.5+ years of experience analyzing complex datasets to identify patterns and trends, and deriving a recommended course of action for the business
  • Experience in building dashboards, creating reports, and querying data for internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL (relational databases & data warehouses), Tableau, and Excel
  • Experience working seamlessly across cross-functional teams and contributing effectively to collaborative projects
  • Excellent written communication and a meticulous eye for details
  • Presentation skills in i.e. PowerPoint are advantageous
  • Familiarity with Ad-Tech, DSPs, SSPs, and ad-serving technologies comes at a plus

What the job involves

  • The business analyst team works in a consultative capacity with multiple internal teams generating ad hoc insights reports, business analysis concepts, and providing revenue-maximizing recommendations
  • The Ad-Tech industry is evolving immensely fast and thus curiosity to get ahead of the competition and being comfortable with ambiguity should come naturally to the person in this position
  • As such, individuals with excellent communication and writing skills as well as significant mathematical and analytical aptitude and an understanding of “business” and “people” will excel in this role
  • Dive into vast datasets, extract meaningful insights, and identify trends that impact business performance
  • Develop well-organized insightful reports, dashboards, and other forms of data visualizations to support and recommend strategic business decisions
  • Build custom dashboards and perform ad hoc analysis using a variety of business intelligence tools including Tableau, SQL, and MS Excel/Google Sheets to aid in effective business decisions and to provide ongoing monitoring and supporting analytics
  • Work closely with demand, supply, and product teams to align business strategies and provide analytical support
  • Act in a consultative role for supporting sales in analytics-related discussions with clients, agencies, and their respective account management, analytics, and investment teams
  • Proactively spot patterns and opportunities, contributing to the development of innovative strategies for growth
  • Manage and support ad-hoc projects to provide business insights, troubleshoot problems, and provide process improvements
