Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in product management of B2B or B2C software products, with a proven track record of clearly communicating an overall multi-year vision and successfully launching products
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high performing team of product managers
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Experience developing professional studio-level Digital Content Creation tools or a related field is preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Passion for technology and innovation, especially related to generative Artificial Intelligence, with a customer-centric mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
What the job involves
- The VP of Product Management is a key leadership role responsible for defining and driving the product strategy and vision for Stability AI. As the world adopts generative Artificial Intelligence, it is of the utmost importance to develop products which solve real-world problems and provide impactful and meaningful improvements in the professional and creative lives of our customers
- The VP of Product Management will work closely with executive management and cross-functional teams including our research, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver innovative and exciting products for enterprise customers, artists and consumers across a wide variety of industry verticals
- They will also build and lead a team of product managers, ensuring the successful development and execution of the company's product roadmap
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product management team
- Product Roadmap Development: Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely and successful delivery of products and features. Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, market trends, and business impact. Balance the needs of our enterprise customers and our users in the open-source community
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Customer Focus: Develop use cases, features and implementation strategies with a strong focus on real-world problems our customers face
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Provide regular updates on product performance and key metrics
- Innovation and Growth: Collaborate closely with our world-class research team to identify new product opportunities and drive innovation to expand the company’s product offerings. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, focusing on applications of generative AI in content creation

Stability AI is an AI-driven visual art company that designs and implements an open AI tool that creates images based on text input. Through collective intelligence and augmented technology, Stability AI is helping research communities develop cutting-edge AI models for image, language, audio, video, 3D content, biotech and other scientific research.
Working in partnership with Amazon Web Services, Stability AI's latest release, Stable Diffusion is a text-to-image model that utilizes the Ezra-1 UltraCluster (the world's fifth-largest supercomputer). The model quickly proved to be a success, with four of the top ten applications on Apple's App Store being powered by Stable Diffusion after just one month.
Alongside Stable Diffusion, Stability AI offers premium imagining application, DreamStudio, as well as externally built products Lensa, Wonder and NightCafe, which have too amassed great success, with over 40M users and counting. The company is dedicated to investing in more supercomputing power in order to further accelerate its product offerings and is looking to expand its workforce, expecting to grow to over 300 employees by the end of the year.
