Who you are

  • Expertise in Enterprise Software Sales experience with cloud technologies

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a self-motivated Enterprise Software Sales Executive with a keen sense of market trends to strategically position our products and solutions
  • This role is highly specialized sales and business development in a fast-growing technology company
  • Own business growth and market expansion for geographic region
  • Develop collaborative relationships with Customers, Solution Engineering, SDR, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams
  • Coordinate and manage prospect activities including POCs, demos, trials, etc
  • Demonstrated experience successfully implementing systems and tactics that have wider impact on team
  • Commands the technical domain of service mesh, cloud infrastructure, security, and adjacent markets
  • Establish and implement a consistent, repeatable process; mentors peers in the process
  • Self-starter on staying current with fast-moving additions to Solo.io products and related technologies such that you’re able to converse and write about
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to evangelize Solo.io products and related technology through attending speaking engagements (conferences, meetups, webinars) and promoting content (blogs, articles) as needed

Service meshes are a critical piece of infrastructure for a lot of companies that aim to be cloud-native, with hundreds or more microservices, businesses need a way to track what’s running in their networks. Solo.io provides connectivity between microservices in the cloud through its API gateways and service mesh.

The unicorn company hit its $1B valuation in 2021 and was one of the only to be led by a woman. The company’s growth is due in part to the growing number of companies re-architecting their applications to microservices and Kubernetes, gaining new customers, and its 100% business renewal rate and account expansion from existing customers.

Solo.io counts some of the world’s biggest data centres and Cloud services as customers, including T-Mobile, Pega, BMW, American Express and Booking.com. The company has used its Altimeter Capital-led Series C funding round to expand its offerings, developing new products and adoptable technology.
