Role

Who you are

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the software space
  • Proven experience in software sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Outreach, Chorus, and other or equivalent sales enablement tools
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events

What the job involves

  • As a Director of Sales, you are pivotal to the growth of the Cents brand to new operators across the US
  • You will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and hire, build, and coach a team of A+ Territory Account Executives in the field, transforming how laundromats operate
  • You will also be one of the major GTM leaders and contribute significantly to shaping Cents' sales strategy and future
  • We have learned a ton already, but you will be granted a ton of autonomy to showcase your skills and develop an elite sales organization
  • This is a front-and-center position with incredible visibility across all areas of the company
  • You must balance advocating for your team while working collaboratively with your peers in marketing, business development, onboarding, customer success, and finance
  • It is also important that we win, but we win the right way
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the account executive sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and support
  • Hiring: Recruit, hire, train, and onboard the next generation of A+ sellers at Cents
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, enhance customer acquisition, and increase market share
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions
  • Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, onboarding, customer success, and billing teams to align strategies and ensure client satisfaction
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance and drive continuous improvement
