Our take

An increase in demand for therapists and counsellors in recent years has led to market saturation and huge waiting lists. This makes it difficult to find a therapist that specializes in the areas that you are seeking help in, making it harder for the patient to get the help they need and for the therapist to find appropriate clients.

Resilience Labs provides a personalized therapist marketplace, matching users with a therapist within 48 hours based on answers to a short survey. The survey considers mental health needs in addition to personal values and preferences and is backed up by additional human support from the company's team of Care Coordinators.

Whilst many other therapy marketplaces have appeared over the last decade, Resilience Labs has been smart to recognize that the filters and search engines of existing solutions simply do not facilitate effective matching. Through its advanced human-interrupted data-driven approach, the company aims to make it easier for people to receive the specific care that they need, whilst improving the chances that therapists will find a long-term client.
