What the job involves

  • We are seeking a talented and Strategic Partner Manager (PAM) to join our dynamic team in Paris
  • This role is crucial for driving our growth and development within France, Italy and Middle East Markets. As a Strategic PAM, you will manage and develop key strategic partnerships with leading integration providers and channel partners to expand Aircall's market presence and drive revenue growth
  • You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with our partners, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful partnership outcomes
  • Partnership Management: Develop and manage relationships with key strategic partners, including software providers and channel partners (e.g., System Integrators, Solution Partners, Digital Consulting firms)
  • Business Development: Identify new partnership opportunities and develop strategies to expand Aircall’s market presence in France, Italy and Middle East regions
  • Strategic Planning: Leverage consultative selling techniques to drive sales and achieve monthly quotas
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other GTM teams, and Product Development teams to ensure a cohesive approach to partnership management and to drive joint initiatives
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships using KPIs and metrics, ensuring alignment with Aircall’s goals and objectives
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to provide strategic insights and recommendations
  • Event Participation: Represent Aircall at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums to enhance brand visibility and partnership opportunities

Our take

Call centres have been a mainstay of sales teams for decades, with the human touch delivering an impression conversion rate of about 30% for inbound calls. However analogue call centres are physical infrastructure-heavy and unable to take advantage of the flexibility afforded by remote and hybrid ways of work. Aircall exists to change that, providing a cloud-based call centre infrastructure that allows sales teams to work from their home offices.

Aircall isn't the only company in this space, and it faces heavy competition from Cloudtalk, another cloud-based call centre solution. However Aircall stands out in the market by its use of open APIs and webhooks, making integration with existing productivity and helpdesk tools much easier, and its superior call quality. Aircall has developed a significant customer base with these strengths, with over 15,000 companies using its platform.

The company has raised significant funding in recent years, highlighting the confidence investors have in their offering. With a rapidly expanding presence in the US, European, UK and Australian markets and recent refresher leadership hires, Aircall could soon be a widely recognised international player in the telephone software industry.
