  • Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated experience working with technical products
  • Experience leading teams autonomously and delivering substantial product releases from 0 to 1

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Culture-oriented teammate that can uplevel the team while having fun and strengthening team bonds
  • World-class partner that uplevels the team’s performance while building and fostering a fun and tight-knit culture

What the job involves

  • As the Senior Product Manager for our Day-to-day (D2D) Admin team, you will be responsible for creating experiences our users love.
  • In particular over the next 6-12 months, you will be responsible for revamping our experience altogether to deliver a 2.0 experience that is differentiated and industry-leading, culminating with a large external GTM push to drive excitement and momentum around the launch.
  • In classic product management fashion, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of your product area alongside this initiative to ensure we are sufficiently supporting the priorities of our product across innovation, enhancements, and technical debt
  • Define and evangelize vision, strategy, and roadmap across the company to build strong alignment and drive world-class execution
  • Build empathy for customer personas by working directly with customers and internal teams
  • Own outcomes and be a champion for always refining how to best use our resources in order maximize the returns on our investments and attention
  • Track industry trends and think strategically to develop solutions that are differentiated from the competition and drive our product and company strategy forward
  • Leverage data to continually inform product evolution and drive customer adoption of product capabilities
  • Partner closely with Design and Engineering to research, design and build high-quality and reliable product experiences that customers love
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience to ensure value is realized by our customers

Our take

CaptivateIQ is an incentive compensation platform using AI to automate commission workflows, potentially helping companies make savings on the $800 billion spent each year to manage commission processes. Its no-code SaaS should improve both the efficiency and accuracy of existing legacy processes, providing a much-needed tech overhaul to the sector.

The founding team has real experience with the often over-complicated and cumbersome process of managing commission payments and is joining a raft of companies like UiPath and Celonis in capitalizing on the need to automate sales and finance workflows. CaptivateIQ, founded in 2017, has seen an impressive 600% year-over-year growth and is used by big-name clients like Hopin and ClassPass, attracting healthy investment. This suggests the company is laying firm groundwork in a growing and promising industry.

CaptivateIQ has been smart to keep the platform general enough to apply to any organization needing a performance-based compensation plan. The company's broad customer acquisition and regular funding injections paired with the need for new, robust incentive programmes for scattered and remote workforces has helped CaptivateIQ reach Unicorn status.
