Who you are
- Proficiency in Python, with a strong background in back-end engineering

What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced back-end developer to join our Customer Lifetime Value (CLtV) team as Data Engineer
- You’ll collaborate with our Core Systems team to develop in this key area of our business
- Develop a state-of-the-art system:
- Develop and enhance our customer evaluation platform
- Build and maintain a robust feature store for model inputs
- Design and optimise data pipelines for efficient data processing
- Own key parts of our systems
- Improve systems architecture in collaboration with data scientists to ensuring model outputs are consistent, and that scientists fully understand the infrastructure
- Define and communicate your own technical agenda to champion technology and deliver our long term goals
- Build stakeholder relationships to understand and influence the business domain.
- Develop strong relationships with data scientists on the team to ensure efficient deployments and a seamless experience for business stakeholders
- The CLtV team is a small and versatile group of people who manage the CLtV model from the R&D stage all the way to deploying model releases into production
- They manage data pipelines that enable the business to use our predictions in their day-to-day decision-making
