Role

Who you are

  • If you’re an experienced People & Culture professional, and you know how to hire great talent - this role could be the one for you!

  • You have experience in end-to-end recruiting of talent at all levels in the UK - bonus if you’ve worked in tech company and/or SaaS environments

  • You have an overwhelming level of enthusiasm for maintaining and growing a world-class company culture

  • You have excellent communication skills - whether it be on the phone, on Slack, video calls, email, or when writing guides for people

What the job involves

  • This is a true hybrid role, which means that you’ll have full ownership over the PX lifecycle and the end-to-end recruitment process for the UK region, at a company that prides itself on having a strong culture
  • You'll partner with local leadership to support the growth of the UK market
  • You'll lead projects across our shared PX Portfolios (Talent, Onboarding, DEIB, Wellbeing, People Development, People Operations & Workplace Experience functions)
  • You'll facilitate team engagement workshops e.g. training on ally skills and inclusion, feedback culture etc
  • You'll devise ways to build team engagement and social connections
  • You'll work with the team to attract quality talent and provide exceptional candidate experiences, through a full end-to-end recruitment process
  • You'll be continuously improving our onboarding processes
  • You'll develop our employer branding and talent community strategies for the UK, in partnership with our Director of Talent
  • You'll provide Employment Relations (ER) guidance & support to the business
  • You'll maintain a compensation philosophy and job level strategy
  • You'll support internal mobility and helping our existing team learn and grow
  • You'll manage and track key people processes using our PX tech stack (HiBob, 15Five, Google, Slack, Notion, Workable)
  • You'll support our Finance Partner with Leave and Payroll Reporting
  • You'll build and maintain all employment agreements across office locations
  • You'll ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
  • Given our size and stage of growth in the UK, there will also be plenty of opportunities for the successful person to roll up their sleeves and lead PX-adjacent projects including culture workshops, team events, operations (Including growing our office space when required) and workplace experience

Our take

Across the globe, profit-motivated and organised crime costs trillions of dollars each year, with retail theft costing the world over $100B annually. However, shoplifting has become an “accepted” business cost, often unreported and unsolved, that businesses factor theft costs into their budgets and forecasts. Auror’s platform for retailers is focused on preventing crime, reducing loss, and making stores safer.

The company uses data visibility technology for fast and easy reporting of crime, providing crimefighters with the intelligence they need to not only solve more crime, but also provides insights as to how to prevent future shoplifting. Connected with over 2,000 law enforcement agencies, it drives a 50% improvement in debt recovery rates and resolves cases that would ordinarily never be investigated within two weeks.

The company has expanded globally, with offices in New Zealand, Australia, the USA, and the UK, and works with some of the largest retailers in these countries, including Walmart, Woolworths, and Coles. Auror’s successful expansions and proven product have it well set to be at the centre of greatly reducing retail theft across the globe.
