Who you are
- 7+ Years experience in customer-facing pre or post-sales roles, ideally in financial services, credit, or related industry
- Experience in Enterprise IT and using HTML, Javascript, RESTful APIs, and a Server Side language (e.g., Python, C#, PHP) is required
- Above all, intellectual curiosity, drive, and coachability will be critical to ensure you help Nova Credit’s partners unlock the platform's value
What the job involves
- The Senior Solutions Architect will be part of the Go-To-Market team, playing an essential role in helping to close new business and launch existing customers across different financial services verticals
- You will serve as a consultative product expert that helps clients unlock business value while working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to support the entire customer journey
- You will engage with our U.S. customer base - especially large financial institutions - and other key global customers in Singapore, the UK, the UAE, and more!
- WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH YOU'LL:
- Establish a technical and strategic understanding of Nova Credit’s implementation operations
- Learn the go-to-market motion of Nova Credit
- Run your first client meetings
- WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER YOU'LL:
- Partner with Account Executives to advance the technical dimensions of pre-sales strategic enterprises deal processes, establishing trust and credibility amongst all stakeholders
- Partner with Engagement Managers to advance the technical dimensions of post-sales strategic implementation processes, establishing trust and credibility amongst all stakeholders
- Shape the technical decisions our customers make when integrating our products to maximize the business value of their deployment
- Launch or close your first mid-market customer engagement
- WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR YOU'LL:
- Close and launch critical enterprise customers both domestically and internationally
- Scale the SA function by contributing to foundational processes and content
- Shape the trajectory of Nova Credit by working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to prioritize road map features that unblock critical accounts

For the 15 million new immigrants who arrive in the US each year, it’s crucial to have a working credit history. Without this, they’ll be unable to rent an apartment, apply for a credit card or in some cases even get a job. The issue is that their credit history won’t have travelled with them, so lenders in their new country won’t be able to verify their eligibility. Nova Credit's founders experienced this problem first-hand, as Esipov is a first-generation Russian immigrant.
Nova Credit imports financial histories to enable immigrants to set up lives in new countries, with their ‘Credit Passport’. This is a digital framework that connects an individual’s credit history information from one country into the country where they are currently residing.
Nova Credit is currently able to import credit history from 8 countries, its most recent addition being the UK in January 2023. Since being accepted to Y Combinator in 2016, the company has since raised considerable funding from major finance players such as HSBC. Nova Credit has grown its footprint significantly, covering more than 1 billion consumer credit profiles, with further expansion in sight.
