  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a strong emphasis on SEO and social media marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in the B2B software industry is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies and creating compelling content for online campaigns, including SEO/SEM, paid search, and social media management
  • Hands-on expertise with digital marketing platforms and tools, such as Google Suite, Hubspot, WordPress, LinkedIn, and Meta
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking growth, generating analytical reports, and using tools like Google Analytics, Hubspot, and other BI tools
  • A technical mindset with the ability and eagerness to learn new tools and platforms quickly
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strong interest in staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and strategies

What the job involves

  • In this individual contributor role, you'll have a significant impact on increasing inbound traffic and pipeline by expanding our success across a variety of digital channels, including our website, social media, and video platforms
  • Drive SEO Performance: Develop and execute strategies to continuously improve search engine rankings through keyword-informed copywriting and content optimization as well as technical site optimization
  • Optimize Website Performance: Monitor and maximize website performance, focusing on key metrics such as conversion rates, social media and other referral traffic, and search engine rankings. Implement A/B testing to analyze and improve results
  • Content Collaboration and Optimization: Partner with content teams to create and optimize engaging, on-brand web content and social media posts that are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for visibility
  • SEO Guidelines and Best Practices: Establish and communicate SEO writing guidelines to ensure effective headlines, call-to-action statements, and keyword placement for maximum traffic
  • Search Audits and Analysis: Conduct regular search audits to assess visibility across major search engines and information gathering services, including technical website analysis, competitive/keyword research, and link analysis
  • Website Enhancement Implementation: Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website improvements and enhancements
  • Performance Reporting and Analysis: Create and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to stakeholders, providing insights on key digital marketing metrics, ROI, and actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Campaign Effectiveness: Report on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and use data-driven insights to optimize performance and achieve business objectives

Our take

Nowadays, the vast majority of housing deals are done online. This is possible because of companies like Blend, a digital banking platform out to simplify the mortgage process.

Blend is used by major banks and financial institutions to offer mortgages and consumer loans. It has proved popular thus far, although its success continues to be tied to interest rates and the housing market, which means a few bumps in the road are inevitable.
