Who you are
- 1+ Years of Experience in Software Sales
- Experience with OSS business model is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)
- Adaptable and with demonstrable experience in high velocity technology companies
- Experience using Salesforce
- You will need to be an excellent communicator in all channels (in person, online, in writing) and able to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually
- Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal
- Located in the United Kingdom
What the job involves
- Grafana Labs is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Velocity Account Executive. The Velocity Sales team operates within our self-serve group and is responsible for our SMB segment
- In this position, you will be responsible for driving both new business acquisition and existing customer growth within your assigned book of business
- Your primary objectives will be to close new business and maintain active engagements with current month to month customers that indicate a propensity to acquire our contract offering
- Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales targets
- Accurately forecast business on a quarterly basis
- Spearhead the growth & adoption of Grafana Cloud through our month to month customer base
- Respond to and qualify incoming requests from our new upgrade and new trial cohorts
- Be able to understand and convey the value of both Grafana Cloud Self-Serve and Contracted
- Partner with cross functional teams to share customer feedback
- Become an expert in our product and add value in every user interaction
- Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests
