Role

Who you are

  • 3-5 years of experience in Frontend Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with responsive design/development and mobile-web best practices
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), package managers (e.g., npm), and build tools (e.g., webpack)
  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques
  • Basic understanding of iOS/Android development and integration with SDKs
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility; driving a projects to completion
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; Must be permanently based in the United States

What the job involves

  • At Mobility Capital Finance Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user interfaces that enhance user experience and optimize our applications
  • You will work closely with our product and design teams to turn wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic and innovative company in the financial technology industry
  • In this role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing user-facing features and improving overall user experience. You will collaborate with designers and backend engineers to translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive and interactive web applications
  • You will write clean, efficient, and reusable code using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, identify and fix performance bottlenecks, and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • This role is remote and reports to the Head of Engineering. The range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 based on experience and location
  • Develop and test user interfaces & front-end integrations that enable us to deliver our mission
  • Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product
  • Help translate product requirements into technical solutions
  • Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment
  • Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
  • Communicate with project counterparts and other software developers to deliver solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine designs, work through code reviews and manage pull request
