What the job involves

  • We are expanding our sales team and seeking a strategic VP of Sales Development to lead our global Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) team across the US, UK, and Europe
  • As the VP of Sales Development, you will drive the strategy and execution of our global Sales Development function
  • You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), while SDRs will report to the Regional Sales Directors with a dotted line to you
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage a diverse team of SDRs across the US, UK, and Europe
  • Establish goals and KPIs, providing coaching, development, and performance management
  • Foster a collaborative, results oriented culture
  • Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to exceed global pipeline and revenue targets
  • Implement best practices for lead generation, qualification, and nurturing
  • Ensure alignment between Sales Development and other departments to drive revenue growth
  • Process Optimization:
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales Development function
  • Utilize CRM and sales automation tools to track activities and report outcomes
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns
  • Partner with Sales Operations to improve sales productivity
  • Provide insights to Product and Customer Success teams based on market trends
  • Conduct career conversations with SDRs and create compensation strategies
  • Influence and Persuasion:
  • Align interests of Regional Sales Directors and SDRs with the sales strategy
  • Build strong relationships to drive initiatives and achieve goals
  • Conflict Resolution:
  • Address conflicts from the indirect reporting structure and mediate disputes
